the pleasure of entertaining around beautiful tables and recipes that make the most of vegetables.
Her vacation spot
"My mother lives in Aix-en-Provence and I have a house in Baux-de-Provence. So the region is our base! A
destination that we love, but let's couple it with Italy, as my husband is originally from that country."
Her summer table
"I first choose my tablecloth. On a cheerful, graphic piece by Jeanne Bayol (jeanne-bayol.com), I'll lay large
candlesticks, artists' vases, Provencal tableware. On a hand-embroidered tablecloth by Sarah Espeute
(oeuvres-sensibles.com), the decoration will be softer, for example with ceramic plates by Héloïse Bariol
(heloisebariol.com)."
Her favorite products
"Without hesitation, peaches, nectarines, nectarines! I love putting them in big salads, with basil. I also love
apricots too. And if they are too ripe, I make them into compotes. Peppers are also my favorite. I stuff them with garlic
and bake them in the oven with a drizzle of olive oil for 45 minutes. Afterwards, they can be peeled and cut into strips, to be eaten hot or cold.
eaten hot or cold. And finally, fennel, which I love cooked, a little caramelized, but also raw, in thin strips,
served with lemon juice, tarragon and Serrano ham.
His favorite addresses
"I go to one of the three stores of the Jardin des Alpilles (jardindesalpilles-fruitslegumes.fr) for fruits, vegetables
cheeses... And, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, at the market of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. Finally, for dinner, I recommend Le
Gibolin (13, rue des Porcelets, 13200 Arles), a pleasant wine bar."
